Our volunteer jobs are generally organized in 4-hour blocks of time.  Here's a list of jobs:



Aid Stations~ Volunteers at aid stations crew runners as they pass by handing them fluids and race nutrition items like gel packs; helping refill bottles that runners carry; and cheering runners on!  


    Aid Station 1:  5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (Basic set up and clean up of the aid station area before and after runners       have passed through).


    Aid Station 2:  6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Basic set up and clean up of the aid station area before and after runners           have passed through).


    Aid Stations 3 through 6: 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Basic set up and clean up of the aid station before and                 after runners have passed through).


Race Day Registration Table:  (5 a.m. to 7 a.m.)  Assist runners in completing any race-day registration forms, hand out race bibs, packets, and t-shirts.


Finish-Line  (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)  Hand out finisher medals and water; direct runners through finish chute and hand out food/breakfast items.


Traffic Control (6:00 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) Assist with traffic control either at UCM's campus for purposes of parking or on location throughout the race course (must be at least age 25).


Course Direction (6:00 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.):  Assist with directing runners along the course at various points.
